How to Reset a TI-84 Calculator

A few keystrokes can easily reset your calculator.

Resetting your TI-84 graphing calculator involves completely wiping its memory. Once the memory is wiped, all of your settings and saved applications will be destroyed or reset to their default values. Memory options are accessed through the calculator’s main menu screen; while the reset function is accessible directly from the calculator.

    Press the “2nd" key and then the “+” key to open the calculator’s menu.

    Select “Reset” from the available options.

    Choose the “All” tab and then select “All Memory.” This clears everything on the calculator except its operating system.
