How To Read Numerology Charts
How to Read Numerology Charts. Constructing and reading numerology charts is easy if you can do basic, everyday addition. Numerology is an occult practice, like astrology or tarot, which applies the innate meaning of numbers to your individual life path. Discover your personal numbers, create a chart for viewing their patterns and gain new insights into your habits and choices. Then you're ready to use numerology to take charge of your future.
How to Read Numerology Charts
Step 1
Choose a reference that you trust, such as Astrology-Numerology.com (see Resources below). It should be clear, easy to read, and be applicable to your particular style and situation.
Step 2
Learn your personal numbers for use in the chart. Use your reference to find your personal numbers based on your birth date, given name and other sources called for by the numerology system you are using.
Step 3
Reduce numbers that intersect to "core" numbers 1 through 9 by applying the general numerology formula. Single-digit numbers remain at face value. Double-digit numbers are split and the digits added together like this: 15 would be reduced to 1+5=6. In this example, the core number is 6.
Step 4
Set up a comparison chart, say, between you and another individual, to see if you are compatible. Include the personal numbers based on your birth dates, or life path numbers, and those based on your names, or destiny numbers.
Step 5
Complete the chart by listing the personality traits associated with each core number, according to your reference.
Step 6
Read the chart by determining whether those traits are compatible, challenged, or incompatible. This should give you plenty of food for thought!
Things Needed
- Pen and paper
- Reference books or online sources
TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read)
To get the most out of your chart, take the time to learn the basics of numerology before beginning, such as how to find personal numbers, what uses they serve and which questions are best answered via charts. Stick to one system of numerology when evaluating charts. The main systems are Chaldean, Pythagorean and Chinese. Professional numerologists may each have their own formulas as well.
Warning
Charts display patterns of probability, not absolute predictions. Professional numerologists (many of them are online) will request a fee for creating individualized charts. Terminology may vary from source to source.
