Events

Two teams of four players aim to push granite stones as close as possible to the center of the target area — the “tee.” Teams earn a point every time its stone is closer to the tee than its opponent’s, assuming it’s within 6 feet of the tee.

In mixed doubles, pairs are composed of one man and one woman. This year marks the Olympic debut for the mixed doubles event.
